The LG Q8 is slightly better than the Xiaomi Mi MIX, having a global score of 77.2 against 76.2. LG Q8's design has the same thickness than Xiaomi Mi MIX, but it's extremely lighter. Both phones in this review include Android OS, but LG Q8 has the newer 7.0 Nougat version and Xiaomi Mi MIX has Android 6.0 Marshmallow, so it provides you a couple nice extra features and performance tweaks.
Xiaomi Mi MIX has a little faster processor than LG Q8. Both have a Quad-Core CPU and the same RAM memory amount. LG Q8 counts with a better screen than Xiaomi Mi MIX, because although it has a little bit smaller display, and they both have the same brightness, the LG Q8 also counts with a lot higher pixel density and a better 1440 x 2560 pixels resolution.
LG Q8 counts with a little bit better camera than Xiaomi Mi MIX, and although they both have a 16 mega pixels back facing camera, the same 30 frames per second video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 video definition, the LG Q8 also has a larger diafragm aperture and a larger camera sensor. LG Q8 has a much better storage to store more apps and games than Xiaomi Mi MIX, because although it has less internal memory, it also counts with a SD memory card expansion slot that holds a maximum of 1,95 TB.
The Xiaomi Mi MIX has a much longer battery lifetime than LG Q8, because it has 4400mAh of battery capacity.
