Comparison review
The Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 has an overall score of 81.2, which is just a bit better than the LG Q8's 77.2 general score. Although Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 and LG Q8 were only released with a few months difference, the Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 design is heavier but also a bit thinner. The LG Q8 has a better looking screen than Xiaomi Mi MIX 2, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a greater pixels number in each inch of screen and a better 1440 x 2560 resolution.
The Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 features a slightly better storage to install applications and games than LG Q8, because although it has no slot for an external memory card, it also counts with 256 GB internal storage. The Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 has a little bit better performance than LG Q8, because it has 4 more processing cores and 2 GB more RAM memory.
The Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 features a bit superior battery lifetime than LG Q8, because it has a 3400mAh battery size. The LG Q8 captures a bit better photographs and videos than Xiaomi Mi MIX 2, and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 video definition, the LG Q8 also has a larger camera sensor which provides a better photo and video quality, a bigger camera aperture to take better photography and video in poorly lited situations and a lot higher resolution back-facing camera.
