The Galaxy A40 is a bit better than the LG V10, with a 79.6 score against 78.6. Galaxy A40's design is a lot newer, a little thinner and a lot lighter than LG V10. These phones work with Android OS (operating system), but the Galaxy A40 has newer 11 version and LG V10 has Android 5.1 version, giving you some additional features.

The LG V10 features a more vivid screen than Galaxy A40, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a little bit greater screen pixels density and a better resolution of 2560 x 1440px. LG V10 has a very superior memory capacity for applications and games than Galaxy A40, and although they both have equal 64 GB internal memory, the LG V10 also has a slot for SD memory cards that supports up to 1,95 TB.

The Samsung Galaxy A40 features a bit better processing unit than LG V10, and although they both have 4 GB of RAM, the Samsung Galaxy A40 also has more 1.8 gigahertz cpu cores. Galaxy A40 counts with just a little bit longer battery duration than LG V10, because it has a 3% greater battery size. LG V10 captures much better photos and videos than Galaxy A40, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture which is not recommended for low light images and videos, and they both have a 16 megapixels back-facing camera, the LG V10 also counts with a larger sensor providing a better image quality and a way better 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution.
