Comparison review

Galaxy Note 5 is a bit better than LG V10, getting a score of 79.3 against 78.6. Even when the Galaxy Note 5 and the LG V10 were released with only 2 months difference, the Galaxy Note 5 is lighter and somewhat thinner. Both phones in this comparison come with the same Android 5.1 OS (operating system).

The Samsung Galaxy Note 5 and LG V10 feature very similar displays, both have a screen of the same size, the same pixels density and the same resolution of 2560 x 1440. Samsung Galaxy Note 5 has a little faster processing unit than LG V10. Both of them have a 4 GB RAM memory and 1 CPU cores. The LG V10 counts with a slightly better camera than Galaxy Note 5, and although they both have a back-facing camera with a 16 mega-pixels, a 0.38 inches back camera sensor and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, the LG V10 also has a bigger aperture and higher video frame rates.

LG V10 has a much greater memory capacity to store more games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Note 5, and although they both have equal 64 GB internal storage, the LG V10 also has an external SD slot that supports a maximum of 1,95 TB. The Samsung Galaxy Note 5's battery performance is very similar to the LG V10 one.

Although Galaxy Note 5 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the LG V10, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the LG V10. So if you need that extra features, you can buy Galaxy Note 5, but if you don't you can save some dollars and get the LG V10, resigning a couple features and specifications.
