Comparison review

The Samsung Galaxy Note8 is a little bit better than the LG V10, with a score of 83 against 78.6. Both phones in this comparison review have Android OS, but Samsung Galaxy Note8 has a more recent 9.0 Pie version while LG V10 has Android 5.1 version. Samsung Galaxy Note8 is a just a little bit heavier phone than the LG V10, but they are equally thin.

LG V10 has a little more vivid screen than Galaxy Note8, although it has a just a bit lower screen density, a bit smaller display and a little bit lower 2560 x 1440 resolution. Samsung Galaxy Note8 features a faster processor than LG V10, because it has a higher number of cores and 2 GB more RAM.

The LG V10 has just a bit better camera than Galaxy Note8, because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture which is not favorable for shooting pictures and videos in low light environments and a smaller back-facing camera sensor capturing worse quality videos and pictures, and they both have the same video quality, the LG V10 also counts with faster video frame rates and a lot higher resolution back camera.

LG V10 features a very superior storage capacity to store more apps and games than Samsung Galaxy Note8, and although they both have equal 64 GB internal storage, the LG V10 also has an external SD slot that allows a maximum of 1,95 TB. The Samsung Galaxy Note8 features just a bit better battery performance than LG V10, because it has a 10 percent bigger battery capacity.

Although Samsung Galaxy Note8 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than LG V10, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as LG V10. So if you need that extra specs, you can buy Samsung Galaxy Note8, but if you don't you can save some dollars and buy the LG V10, giving up a couple specifications.
