Comparison review

The Samsung Galaxy S5 is a bit better than LG V10, getting an 80.8 score against 78.6. Both of these phones use Android OS (operating system), but Samsung Galaxy S5 has older 4.4.2 version and LG V10 has Android 5.1. The Samsung Galaxy S5 body is noticeably lighter and a little bit thinner than LG V10, although it was released only 16 months before.

Galaxy S5 counts with a bit better looking screen than LG V10, because although it has a quite smaller screen and a lot worse 1920 x 1080 resolution, it also counts with a bit higher pixel number in each screen inch. Samsung Galaxy S5 features a greater processing power than LG V10, because although it has less RAM memory, it also counts with a graphics co-processor and more cores.

The LG V10 captures a bit better videos and photos than Samsung Galaxy S5, and although they both have a 0.38 inches camera sensor, a same resolution back-facing camera and the same (4K) video definition, the LG V10 also has higher video frame rate and a larger camera aperture to capture better low light photography and video.

The LG V10 features a very superior memory capacity for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy S5, because it has 64 GB internal storage and a SD card slot that allows up to 1,95 TB. LG V10 has just a little bit longer battery duration than Galaxy S5, because it has a 7 percent greater battery size.

Although Galaxy S5 is a better device, it costs more money than the LG V10, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as LG V10. If you prefer to save a few dollars, you can get LG V10, giving up some specs and features, but you'll get the most with your savings.
