Comparison review

The LG V10 has a general score of 78.6, which is a little bit better than Galaxy S5 Plus's 78.1 global score. Both phones in our current comparison work with Android OS (operating system), but the LG V10 has newer 5.1 version and Galaxy S5 Plus has Android 4.4.2 version. Although the LG V10 is newer than the Galaxy S5 Plus, it's just a little bit thicker and way heavier.

LG V10 features a little sharper screen than Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus, because it has a better resolution of 2560 x 1440px, a bit greater pixels amount in each display inch and a bit larger screen. The Galaxy S5 Plus has a quite superior processing power than LG V10, because although it has less RAM, it also counts with an extra graphics co-processor and more cores.

The LG V10 counts with a much greater storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus, because it has a slot for SD memory cards that supports up to 1,95 TB and more internal storage. LG V10 features a little longer battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus, because it has a 7% bigger battery capacity.

LG V10 takes a bit better videos and photos than Galaxy S5 Plus, and although they both have a 16 mega-pixels back camera, the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution and a same size back camera sensor, the LG V10 also has faster video frame rate and a bigger aperture to take better captures in poorly lited environments.

Although LG V10 is a better device, it costs a little more than Galaxy S5 Plus, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Galaxy S5 Plus. So if you want that extra features, you can buy the LG V10, otherwise you can save some dollars and buy the Galaxy S5 Plus, letting go a couple features and specs.
