Comparison review

The Sony Xperia Z5 Premium has a global score of 79.8, which is just a bit better than the LG V10's general score of 78.6. Sony Xperia Z5 Premium's body is a bit lighter and just a little thinner than LG V10, even though they were only released with a few months difference. Both devices in this review have the same Android 5.1 OS (Operating System), so they should provide you identical OS features.

Xperia Z5 Premium features a better display than LG V10, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a way higher 3840 x 2160 resolution and a lot better number of pixels per inch of screen. The Xperia Z5 Premium has a better processing unit than LG V10, because although it has 1 GB lesser RAM, it also counts with a graphics processor and a greater number of faster cores.

The LG V10 features a lot bigger memory capacity for apps and games than Xperia Z5 Premium, because it has an external memory slot that holds a maximum of 1,95 TB and 64 GB internal memory. The LG V10 captures slightly better pictures and videos than Sony Xperia Z5 Premium, although it has a worse 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, a tinier camera sensor which offers a worse image and video quality and a camera in the back with a much worse resolution, they both have a F1.8 aperture.

Xperia Z5 Premium counts with just a bit longer battery lifetime than LG V10, because it has a 14% bigger battery size.

Although Xperia Z5 Premium is a better device, it costs a lot more than the LG V10, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as LG V10. If you are trying to save some money, you can buy the LG V10, giving up a few features and specs, but you'll get the most out of your budget.
