Comparison review

The LG V30S ThinQ is slightly better than the Google Pixel 3a XL, getting a score of 82.5 against 78.9. LG V30S ThinQ's construction is just a little thinner and a little bit lighter than the Google Pixel 3a XL, despite of the fact that it was released a little bit more than a year before. Both phones we compare here come with Android OS (Operating System), but LG V30S ThinQ has a more recent 8.0 Oreo version and Google Pixel 3a XL has Android 11, so it provides the user some nice extra features and better performance.

The LG V30S ThinQ has just a bit better looking display than Google Pixel 3a XL, and although they both have a display with the same size, the LG V30S ThinQ also has a better screen pixels density and a better 1440 x 2880 resolution. The LG V30S ThinQ counts with a very superior storage capacity for games and applications than Google Pixel 3a XL, because it has 64 GB more internal storage and a SD memory card expansion slot that holds up to 1,95 TB.

The LG V30S ThinQ counts with a little better processing power than Google Pixel 3a XL, and although they both have the same number of cores, the LG V30S ThinQ also has 2 GB more RAM. The Google Pixel 3a XL counts with just a bit longer battery lifetime than LG V30S ThinQ, because it has a 3700mAh battery capacity.

The LG V30S ThinQ features a bit better camera than Google Pixel 3a XL, because although it has a tinier sensor offering a lower image quality, and they both have the same 30 fps video frame rates and the same video definition, the LG V30S ThinQ also counts with a larger aperture to take better low-light photos and a way higher 16 mega-pixels resolution back facing camera.

Although LG V30S ThinQ is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Google Pixel 3a XL, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Google Pixel 3a XL. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy the LG V30S ThinQ, else you can save a couple dollars and buy the Google Pixel 3a XL, letting go a couple features and specifications.
