Comparison review

LG V30S ThinQ is a bit better than HTC One M9, getting a overall score of 82.5 against 77.7. Both devices in our current comparison use Android OS, but the LG V30S ThinQ has a more recent 8.0 Oreo version and HTC One M9 has Android 5.0 version. The LG V30S ThinQ design is extremely newer and notably thinner, but also just a little heavier than HTC One M9.

HTC One M9 has a little more vivid display than LG V30S ThinQ, although it has a way worse resolution of 1920 x 1080px, a just a bit worse display pixel density and a bit smaller screen. HTC One M9 has a bit superior processing unit than LG V30S ThinQ, because although it has 3 GB less RAM memory, and they both have 8 cores, the HTC One M9 also counts with a 64 bits processing unit and an extra graphics co-processor.

HTC One M9 features just a bit better camera than LG V30S ThinQ, because although it has a much tinier aperture which is not so good for low-light captures and videos, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video quality and the same video frame rates, the HTC One M9 also counts with a way larger back-facing camera sensor and a higher resolution back camera.

The LG V30S ThinQ features much more storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than HTC One M9, because it has a slot for SD memory cards that admits up to 1,95 TB and 96 GB more internal memory capacity. The LG V30S ThinQ counts with greater battery duration than HTC One M9, because it has a 16% bigger battery capacity.

Although LG V30S ThinQ is a better device, it costs a lot more than the HTC One M9, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the HTC One M9. If you want to save some dollars, you can buy HTC One M9, and give up a couple features and specs, but you'll get the most with your money.
