LG V30S ThinQ has an overall score of 82.5, which is slightly better than the Huawei Mate 9 Pro's 78.7 global score. These devices use the same Android 8.0 Oreo OS (Operating System), so both of them should count with very similar OS features. LG V30S ThinQ's design is newer, a little bit thinner and a little bit lighter than the Huawei Mate 9 Pro.
Huawei Mate 9 Pro and LG V30S ThinQ both count with very similar displays, although the Huawei Mate 9 Pro has a just a bit less pixels per screen inch, a bit smaller screen and a little lower 1440 x 2560px resolution. The LG V30S ThinQ has just a bit better hardware performance than Huawei Mate 9 Pro. Both of them have 6 GB of RAM memory and the same number of cores.
LG V30S ThinQ counts with a much bigger memory capacity for apps and games than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, and although they both have exactly the same 128 GB internal memory, the LG V30S ThinQ also has a slot for an SD memory card that allows a maximum of 1,95 TB. The Huawei Mate 9 Pro counts with superior battery life than LG V30S ThinQ, because it has a 21 percent more battery capacity.
LG V30S ThinQ counts with a slightly better camera than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, because although it has a smaller back camera sensor capturing less light and washed colors, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality and the same 30 frames per second video frame rate, the LG V30S ThinQ also counts with a much bigger diafragm aperture to capture better low light photos and video and a much more MP camera in the back.
LG V30S ThinQ costs more than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, but you can get a better phone for that extra dollars.
