The LG V30S ThinQ is a bit better than LG G5, with a overall score of 82.5 against 76.1. The LG V30S ThinQ is a just a little lighter cellphone than LG G5, but both are 0.29inches thick. These phones have the same Android 8.0 Oreo operating system. LG V30S ThinQ counts with a little bit better performance than LG G5, because it has a higher number of cores (and they are faster) and a greater amount of RAM memory.

LG G5 features a display that's very similar to LG V30S ThinQ's screen, because although the LG G5 has a little lower 1440 x 2560 resolution and a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a bit more pixels per display inch. The LG G5 features a little bit better camera than LG V30S ThinQ, because although it has a smaller camera aperture, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, a same resolution camera in the back and the same 30 fps video frame rates, the LG G5 also counts with a bigger sensor which offers a better photo and video quality.

LG V30S ThinQ has a much better storage capacity for applications and games than LG G5, and although they both have a slot for an SD memory card that holds up to 1,95 TB, the LG V30S ThinQ also has 128 GB internal storage. The LG V30S ThinQ has superior battery performance than LG G5, because it has 3300mAh of battery capacity.

Although LG V30S ThinQ is a better device, it costs a lot more than LG G5, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as LG G5. So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy LG V30S ThinQ, but if you don't you can save some money and buy the LG G5, giving up a couple specs and features.
