Comparison review

The LG V30S ThinQ is a bit better than the LG Q8, getting an 82.5 score against 77.2. Both of these phones come with Android OS (operating system), but the LG V30S ThinQ has a more recent 8.0 Oreo version and LG Q8 has Android 7.0 Nougat, so it gives you some extra features and performance improvements. Although the LG V30S ThinQ and LG Q8 were released with only a few months difference, the LG V30S ThinQ design is a bit heavier but also just a little thinner than LG Q8.

LG V30S ThinQ counts with a bit better processor than LG Q8, because it has more processing cores and a larger amount of RAM memory. The LG Q8 has a slightly better display than LG V30S ThinQ, because although it has a bit lower 1440 x 2560 resolution and a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a little greater pixels density.

The LG V30S ThinQ has much more memory for apps and games than LG Q8, and although they both have a slot for an external memory card that allows a maximum of 1,95 TB, the LG V30S ThinQ also has 128 GB internal memory. LG Q8 shoots a little bit better pictures and videos than LG V30S ThinQ, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not recommended for shooting photographs and video in low-light environments, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video quality, the same 30 fps video frame rates and a camera in the back with a 16 megapixels resolution, the LG Q8 also counts with a larger sensor taking more light and vivid colors.

LG V30S ThinQ counts with a little better battery duration than LG Q8, because it has 3300mAh of battery capacity.
