The LG V30S ThinQ is just a bit better than the LG V10, having a global score of 82.5 against 78.6. These phones use Android OS, but the LG V30S ThinQ has a more recent 8.0 Oreo version and LG V10 has Android 5.1, counting with some extra features and some performance improvements. The LG V30S ThinQ is a a lot newer cellphone, and it's also lighter and thinner than the LG V10.

LG V10 features a little sharper screen than LG V30S ThinQ, although it has a quite lower resolution of 2560 x 1440, a little smaller display and a bit worse screen pixels density. The LG V30S ThinQ features more storage for applications, games, photos and videos than LG V10, and although they both have a SD extension slot that holds up to 1,95 TB, the LG V30S ThinQ also has more internal storage.

LG V30S ThinQ features a better processing unit than LG V10, because it has a higher number of cores and a larger amount of RAM memory. The LG V10 takes clearer pictures and videos than LG V30S ThinQ, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not good for low-light photography and videos, and they both have the same resolution camera in the back and the same video definition, the LG V10 also counts with a larger back camera sensor taking more light and vivid colors and higher 120 frames per second video frame rates.

The LG V30S ThinQ has a little longer battery duration than LG V10, because it has 3300mAh of battery capacity against 3000mAh.

Although LG V30S ThinQ is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than LG V10, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as LG V10. So if you need that extra features, you can buy LG V30S ThinQ, but if you don't you can save some dollars and buy the LG V10, giving up a couple features and specs.
