Comparison review

The LG V30S ThinQ is just a bit better than Motorola Edge 40, getting an 82.5 score against 77.2. Despite of the fact that the LG V30S ThinQ is older than Motorola Edge 40, it's design is just a little lighter and just a little thinner. These devices include Android OS (Operating System), but LG V30S ThinQ has a newer 8.0 Oreo version while Motorola Edge 40 has Android 13, giving you some nice extra features and increased performance.

The LG V30S ThinQ has a much faster processing unit than Motorola Edge 40, although it has 2 GB less RAM, they both have a Octa-Core processing unit. Motorola Edge 40 features a little sharper display than LG V30S ThinQ, because although it has a just a bit worse pixel number per inch in the display and a way lower 1080 x 2400 resolution, it also counts with a little bit larger display.

The Motorola Edge 40 features a much better camera than LG V30S ThinQ, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition and the same video frame rates, the Motorola Edge 40 also has a bigger camera aperture to take better photos and video in low light environments, a back camera with a much higher 50 mega pixels resolution and a lot larger sensor taking much higher quality photographs.

LG V30S ThinQ features a much bigger storage capacity for games and applications than Motorola Edge 40, and although they both have exactly the same 128 GB internal storage capacity, the LG V30S ThinQ also has a slot for an SD memory card that allows a maximum of 1,95 TB. The Motorola Edge 40 features longer battery performance than LG V30S ThinQ, because it has a 4400mAh battery size against 3300mAh.
