Comparison review
The LG V30S ThinQ has a general score of 82.5, which is slightly better than the Samsung Galaxy A40's overall score of 79.6. Both phones in this review come with Android OS (operating system), but the LG V30S ThinQ has 8.0 Oreo version and Samsung Galaxy A40 has Android 11, giving lots of additional features. LG V30S ThinQ is an older and somewhat heavier phone than the Samsung Galaxy A40, but LG managed to make it just a little bit thinner anyway.
LG V30S ThinQ features a little better processing power than Samsung Galaxy A40, and although they both have the same number of cores, the LG V30S ThinQ also has a greater amount of RAM. The LG V30S ThinQ features just a bit better looking display than Galaxy A40, because it has a little larger display, a quite higher screen density and a better resolution of 1440 x 2880.
The LG V30S ThinQ features a much greater memory capacity to install applications and games than Samsung Galaxy A40, because it has an external memory slot that admits up to 1,95 TB and 128 GB internal memory capacity. The LG V30S ThinQ features a slightly better camera than Galaxy A40, because although it has a tinier back camera sensor capturing lower quality videos and pictures, and they both have a 16 megapixels back camera, the LG V30S ThinQ also counts with a larger diafragm aperture and a lot higher (4K) video quality.
The LG V30S ThinQ counts with a little longer battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy A40, because it has 3300mAh of battery capacity.
