Comparison review
Galaxy A42 has a score of 87, which is a bit better than LG V30S ThinQ's 82.5 score. Both of these phones have Android operating system, but Galaxy A42 has the older 11 version and LG V30S ThinQ has Android 8.0 Oreo version. Galaxy A42's body is noticeably newer than LG V30S ThinQ's, although it's heavier and somewhat thicker.
The LG V30S ThinQ has a much more vibrant screen than Galaxy A42, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a lot higher resolution of 1440 x 2880px and a way higher pixel count per inch of screen. LG V30S ThinQ counts with a bit more powerful processor than Samsung Galaxy A42, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the LG V30S ThinQ also has 2 GB more RAM memory.
Samsung Galaxy A42 has a superior camera than LG V30S ThinQ, because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture which is not good for capturing pictures and video in low light environments, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video quality and the same 30 frames per second video frame rate, the Samsung Galaxy A42 also counts with a lot better resolution back facing camera.
