LG V30S ThinQ is just a bit better than Galaxy A8 (2018), getting an 82.5 score against 79.2. Even though the LG V30S ThinQ and Galaxy A8 (2018) were released only a couple of months apart, the LG V30S ThinQ is thinner and a little lighter. The LG V30S ThinQ counts with a little sharper display than Galaxy A8 (2018), because it has a better resolution of 1440 x 2880px, a just a bit better display density and a little bit bigger screen.
LG V30S ThinQ has much more storage to store more games and applications than Samsung Galaxy A8 (2018), because it has an external SD slot that allows up to 1,95 TB and 64 GB more internal memory capacity. LG V30S ThinQ has a bit more powerful processor than Samsung Galaxy A8 (2018), and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the LG V30S ThinQ also has 2 GB more RAM.
LG V30S ThinQ has a little better battery life than Galaxy A8 (2018), because it has a 10 percent bigger battery size. LG V30S ThinQ shoots just a bit better videos and photos than Galaxy A8 (2018), and although they both have a 16 megapixels camera in the back, the LG V30S ThinQ also has a lot better video quality and a larger aperture.
