LG V30S ThinQ is a bit better than the Samsung Galaxy Alpha, having an 82.5 score against 76.3. Both phones we are comparing here come with Android OS (Operating System), but the LG V30S ThinQ has newer 8.0 Oreo version and Samsung Galaxy Alpha has Android 4.4.4 version, so it provides the user some additional features. LG V30S ThinQ is a somewhat thicker and a lot heavier device than Samsung Galaxy Alpha.

LG V30S ThinQ has a little faster processor than Galaxy Alpha, because although it has doesn't have an additional GPU, it also counts with 4 GB more RAM memory and 4 more CPU cores. LG V30S ThinQ features a little more vivid screen than Galaxy Alpha, because it has a lot higher 1440 x 2880 pixels resolution, a larger screen and a much better quantity of pixels per inch in the display.

LG V30S ThinQ counts with a bit better camera than Galaxy Alpha, and although they both have the same video resolution and the same 30 fps video frame rates, the LG V30S ThinQ also has a back-facing camera with lot more megapixels and a way larger camera aperture. LG V30S ThinQ counts with a much greater storage capacity for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Alpha, because it has 96 GB more internal storage and an external memory slot that holds up to 1,95 TB.

The LG V30S ThinQ features a much longer battery life than Samsung Galaxy Alpha, because it has 3300mAh of battery capacity.

Although LG V30S ThinQ is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Galaxy Alpha, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Galaxy Alpha. If you are trying to save some money, you can get Galaxy Alpha, giving up a few features and specifications, but you will get the most with your money.
