Comparison review
The Galaxy M40 is slightly better than the LG V30S ThinQ, getting a global score of 85 against 82.5. Galaxy M40's construction is newer than the LG V30S ThinQ's, but it's just a little thicker and a little heavier. These devices have Android OS, but the Galaxy M40 has older 10 version while LG V30S ThinQ has Android 8.0 Oreo version.
The LG V30S ThinQ features a little more vivid display than Galaxy M40, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a greater amount of pixels per screen inch and a higher resolution of 1440 x 2880. The LG V30S ThinQ features a much greater storage capacity for games and applications than Galaxy M40, and although they both have equal internal memory capacity, the LG V30S ThinQ also has an external memory card slot that admits a maximum of 1,95 TB.
LG V30S ThinQ has a little bit better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy M40. They have a 6 GB RAM and the same number of cores. The Samsung Galaxy M40 counts with a bit better camera than LG V30S ThinQ, because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture which is worse for low light photos and video, and they both have the same 30 fps video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 video resolution, the Samsung Galaxy M40 also counts with a bigger back-facing camera sensor and a way better resolution camera.
Samsung Galaxy M40 counts with a little better battery life than LG V30S ThinQ, because it has a 3500mAh battery size against 3300mAh.
