Comparison review

The LG V30S ThinQ has a general score of 82.5, which is just a bit better than Samsung Galaxy Note 3's 81.2 overall score. Both of these devices work with Android operating system, but LG V30S ThinQ has a more recent 8.0 Oreo version while Samsung Galaxy Note 3 has Android 5.0. LG V30S ThinQ is a notably newer phone, and it's also somewhat thinner and just a bit lighter than Samsung Galaxy Note 3.

LG V30S ThinQ has a bit better performance than Samsung Galaxy Note 3, because although it has doesn't have an additional GPU, it also counts with a greater number of cores and a larger amount of RAM memory. The Galaxy Note 3 counts with a bit more vivid display than LG V30S ThinQ, although it has a way lower 1920 x 1080 resolution, a quite smaller display and way less pixels per inch in the screen.

The LG V30S ThinQ features a very superior memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Galaxy Note 3, because it has a slot for external memory cards that holds a maximum of 1,95 TB and more internal storage. LG V30S ThinQ takes just a bit better pictures and videos than Galaxy Note 3, because although it has a tinier sensor which gives a worse image and video quality, and they both have the same 30 fps video frame rate and the same (4K) video resolution, the LG V30S ThinQ also counts with a much larger aperture and a more megapixels camera.

The LG V30S ThinQ counts with just a little better battery lifetime than Galaxy Note 3, because it has a 3% more battery capacity.

Although LG V30S ThinQ is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Galaxy Note 3, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Galaxy Note 3. If you prefer to save some dollars, you can buy the Galaxy Note 3, and give up a few features and specs, but you'll get the most with your budget.
