Comparison review

The LG V30S ThinQ has a general score of 82.5, which is slightly better than Samsung Galaxy S5's 80.8 global score. Both phones we compare here have Android operating system, but the LG V30S ThinQ has a newer 8.0 Oreo version and Samsung Galaxy S5 has Android 4.4.2, so it provides lots of additional features and enhanced performance. Although LG V30S ThinQ is just a bit heavier than the Samsung Galaxy S5, it's just a little thinner and also notably newer.

Galaxy S5 has a brighter screen than LG V30S ThinQ, because although it has a much lower 1920 x 1080 resolution and a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a just a bit more pixels per inch in the display. The LG V30S ThinQ has a way bigger memory capacity to store more apps and games than Galaxy S5, because it has a SD extension slot that holds up to 1,95 TB and 96 GB more internal memory capacity.

The Galaxy S5 has a processing unit that's just as good as the processing unit in LG V30S ThinQ, because although the Galaxy S5 has 3 GB lesser RAM memory and 4 lesser CPU cores , it also counts with an extra graphics processing unit. Samsung Galaxy S5 counts with a slightly better camera than LG V30S ThinQ, because although it has a lot smaller aperture, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, the same 30 frames per second video frame rates and a back-facing camera with a 16 MP resolution, the Samsung Galaxy S5 also counts with a larger back-facing camera sensor.

The LG V30S ThinQ features longer battery duration than Galaxy S5, because it has 3300mAh of battery capacity against 2800mAh.

Although LG V30S ThinQ is a better device, it is way more expensive than Samsung Galaxy S5, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Samsung Galaxy S5. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy LG V30S ThinQ, else you can save a couple dollars and buy the Samsung Galaxy S5, letting go a couple features and specs.
