Comparison review

LG V30S ThinQ has a global score of 82.5, which is just a bit better than Galaxy S5 Sport's overall score of 77.8. The LG V30S ThinQ body has the same weight than the Galaxy S5 Sport, but it is thinner. Both of these phones use Android OS, but LG V30S ThinQ has a more recent 8.0 Oreo version while Galaxy S5 Sport has Android 4.4.2.

Galaxy S5 Sport counts with a slightly better display than LG V30S ThinQ, although it has a little bit worse display pixels density, a lot worse resolution of 1920 x 1080px and a quite smaller screen. LG V30S ThinQ features a superior memory capacity for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy S5 Sport, because it has more internal storage and a slot for an external memory card that supports up to 1,95 TB.

LG V30S ThinQ features a little better performance than Galaxy S5 Sport, because although it has doesn't have an additional graphics processing unit, it also counts with a larger number of cores and more RAM. The LG V30S ThinQ features improved battery duration than Galaxy S5 Sport, because it has 3300mAh of battery capacity against 2800mAh.

The LG V30S ThinQ features just a bit better camera than Galaxy S5 Sport, because although it has a tinier sensor which provides a lower image and video quality, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video quality, a same resolution camera in the back and the same 30 fps video frame rate, the LG V30S ThinQ also counts with a way bigger aperture.

Although LG V30S ThinQ is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Samsung Galaxy S5 Sport, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Samsung Galaxy S5 Sport. If you prefer to save a few dollars, you can get Samsung Galaxy S5 Sport, and give up a couple features, but you will get the most out of your savings.
