LG V30S ThinQ is just a bit better than Samsung Galaxy S6 Active, having a score of 82.5 against 80.9. Both of these phones come with Android OS (Operating System), but LG V30S ThinQ has a newer 8.0 Oreo version while Samsung Galaxy S6 Active has Android 5.0 version. Galaxy S6 Active counts with a better screen than LG V30S ThinQ, because although it has a little bit smaller screen and a quite lower resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels, it also counts with a just a little more pixels per inch of screen.
LG V30S ThinQ features a superior storage capacity to store more games and applications than Samsung Galaxy S6 Active, because it has 96 GB more internal memory capacity. Galaxy S6 Active features a bit better processing power than LG V30S ThinQ, because although it has 3 GB lesser RAM, and they both have 8 cpu cores, the Galaxy S6 Active also counts with a 64 bits processor and a graphics processing unit.
Galaxy S6 Active features just a bit better battery duration than LG V30S ThinQ, because it has a 3500mAh battery capacity. The LG V30S ThinQ features a better camera than Samsung Galaxy S6 Active, because although it has a tinier sensor, and they both have a back facing camera with a 16 mega pixels, the same video frame rate and the same (4K) video quality, the LG V30S ThinQ also counts with a larger aperture.

So if you need that extra features, you can buy the LG V30S ThinQ, but if you don't you can save some money and buy the Samsung Galaxy S6 Active, letting go a couple features and specs.
