Comparison review
LG V30S ThinQ is a bit better than Galaxy S8 Active, with a score of 82.5 against 81.9. Although LG V30S ThinQ and Galaxy S8 Active were released with only 7 months difference, LG V30S ThinQ is much lighter and notably thinner. LG V30S ThinQ features a little better processing power than Samsung Galaxy S8 Active, and although they both have the same number of cores, the LG V30S ThinQ also has a higher amount of RAM.
Galaxy S8 Active features a little sharper screen than LG V30S ThinQ, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a just a bit better number of pixels per display inch and a little bit higher 1440 x 2960 resolution. The LG V30S ThinQ takes just a bit better videos and photos than Galaxy S8 Active, because although it has a tinier sensor which provides a worse image and video quality, and they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 video definition, the LG V30S ThinQ also counts with a camera with a much higher resolution and a larger aperture.
The LG V30S ThinQ has a much greater memory to store more games and applications than Samsung Galaxy S8 Active, because it has 128 GB internal storage and an external SD slot that holds up to 1,95 TB. Galaxy S8 Active counts with superior battery performance than LG V30S ThinQ, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity against 3300mAh.
Although LG V30S ThinQ is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Galaxy S8 Active, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Galaxy S8 Active. If you are trying to save a few dollars, you can buy Galaxy S8 Active, giving up a couple features, but you'll get the most with your budget.
