LG V30S ThinQ is slightly better than the Xperia XZ Premium, getting a score of 82.5 against 79.8. The LG V30S ThinQ body is newer, somewhat lighter and just a little bit thinner than the Xperia XZ Premium. The Xperia XZ Premium counts with a much better looking display than LG V30S ThinQ, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a lot higher resolution of 2160 x 3840 and more pixels per display inch.

The LG V30S ThinQ has a bit superior CPU than Xperia XZ Premium, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the LG V30S ThinQ also has a greater amount of RAM. LG V30S ThinQ has a much greater memory capacity for applications and games than Sony Xperia XZ Premium, because it has 64 GB more internal storage capacity and an external SD slot that holds a maximum of 1,95 TB.

LG V30S ThinQ features a little better battery performance than Sony Xperia XZ Premium, because it has a 3300mAh battery capacity. The Xperia XZ Premium shoots a little bit better photos and videos than LG V30S ThinQ, because although it has a smaller camera aperture which is not favorable for shooting photographs or video in poorly lited environments, and they both have the same 30 fps video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 video quality, the Xperia XZ Premium also counts with a camera in the back with a higher resolution and a lot larger sensor capturing lot higher quality videos and photographs.
