Comparison review

The LG V30S ThinQ has a general score of 82.5, which is slightly better than the Xperia Z5's score of 77.6. Both of these phones use Android operating system, but the LG V30S ThinQ has a more recent 8.0 Oreo version while Xperia Z5 has Android 5.1, so it provides a couple additional features. The LG V30S ThinQ body has the same thickness than Xperia Z5, but it's a bit heavier.

The Xperia Z5 has a bit sharper display than LG V30S ThinQ, although it has a just a little worse pixel density, a lot worse resolution of 1920 x 1080 and a little bit smaller display. LG V30S ThinQ has a much bigger memory for applications and games than Sony Xperia Z5, because it has an external SD slot that admits up to 1,95 TB and 96 GB more internal memory capacity.

The LG V30S ThinQ counts with just a little better hardware performance than Sony Xperia Z5, because although it has doesn't have an additional graphics processing unit, and they both have the same number of cores, the LG V30S ThinQ also counts with more RAM. The Sony Xperia Z5 counts with a little bit better camera than LG V30S ThinQ, because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture, and they both have the same video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 video definition, the Sony Xperia Z5 also counts with a much higher 23 mega-pixels resolution back facing camera and a lot bigger back-facing camera sensor.

LG V30S ThinQ counts with a bit superior battery life than Xperia Z5, because it has a 3300mAh battery capacity against 2900mAh.

Although LG V30S ThinQ is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Sony Xperia Z5, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Sony Xperia Z5. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy the LG V30S ThinQ, otherwise you can save a couple dollars and get the Sony Xperia Z5, giving up some specs and features.
