Comparison review
The LG V30S ThinQ is just a bit better than the Xiaomi Mi 6, having an 82.5 score against 76.5. The LG V30S ThinQ construction has the same thickness than the Xiaomi Mi 6, but it is a little lighter. The Xiaomi Mi 6 and LG V30S ThinQ both count with extremely similar processing units, both of them have the same number of cores and 6 GB of RAM.
The Xiaomi Mi 6 and LG V30S ThinQ have similar screens, although the Xiaomi Mi 6 has a quite lower screen density, a way lower 1080 x 1920 pixels resolution and a bit smaller screen. The LG V30S ThinQ takes clearer videos and photos than Xiaomi Mi 6, because although it has a smaller back camera sensor capturing less light and duller colors, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video resolution and the same 30 frames per second video frame rate, the LG V30S ThinQ also counts with a bigger diafragm aperture for better photography and videos in poorly lited situations and a much more MP camera.
LG V30S ThinQ features a lot bigger storage for games and applications than Xiaomi Mi 6, and although they both have equal internal storage, the LG V30S ThinQ also has a SD extension slot that holds a maximum of 1,95 TB. The Xiaomi Mi 6 features a little better battery lifetime than LG V30S ThinQ, because it has 3350mAh of battery capacity instead of 3300mAh.
Although LG V30S ThinQ is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Xiaomi Mi 6, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Xiaomi Mi 6. If you prefer to save a few dollars, you can get the Xiaomi Mi 6, giving up some specs and features, but you'll get the most out of your budget.
