The LG V30S ThinQ has a global score of 82.5, which is a little bit better than Xiaomi Mi Max 2's 77.5 general score. The LG V30S ThinQ design is newer, just a bit thinner and incredibly lighter than the Xiaomi Mi Max 2. LG V30S ThinQ features a brighter screen than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a way higher resolution of 1440 x 2880 and a much better count of pixels per inch in the screen.
LG V30S ThinQ features much more memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, and although they both have the same internal storage, the LG V30S ThinQ also has a slot for an SD memory card that supports a maximum of 1,95 TB. LG V30S ThinQ counts with a bit better hardware performance than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, and although they both have 8 CPU cores, the LG V30S ThinQ also has more RAM memory.
The LG V30S ThinQ has a slightly better camera than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, because although it has a tinier back-facing camera sensor capturing less light and washed colors, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video resolution and the same 30 frames per second video frame rate, the LG V30S ThinQ also counts with a back facing camera with a way higher resolution and a lot larger diafragm aperture to capture better low light images.
Xiaomi Mi Max 2 features a much longer battery lifetime than LG V30S ThinQ, because it has a 5300mAh battery size instead of 3300mAh.
Although LG V30S ThinQ is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Xiaomi Mi Max 2, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Xiaomi Mi Max 2. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy the LG V30S ThinQ, but if you don't you can save some dollars and get the Xiaomi Mi Max 2, resigning some features and specs.
