Comparison review
The LG V30S ThinQ is just a bit better than Xiaomi Mi MIX 2, with a global score of 82.5 against 81.2. LG V30S ThinQ is a just a little thinner and somewhat lighter cellphone than Xiaomi Mi MIX 2, even when both were released only a couple of months apart. LG V30S ThinQ and Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 count with similar CPUs, they have a 6 GB RAM and the same number of cores.
The LG V30S ThinQ features just a bit better screen than Xiaomi Mi MIX 2, and although they both have a same size display, the LG V30S ThinQ also has a greater amount of pixels per screen inch and a higher 1440 x 2880 resolution. The LG V30S ThinQ features a superior memory to store more apps and games than Xiaomi Mi MIX 2, because although it has only 128 GB internal storage capacity, it also counts with a SD memory slot that admits a maximum of 1,95 TB.
LG V30S ThinQ takes slightly better photos and videos than Xiaomi Mi MIX 2, because although it has a tinier back-facing camera sensor taking lower quality videos and images, and they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, the LG V30S ThinQ also counts with a larger aperture to take better captures and videos in poorly lited environments and a back facing camera with lot more mega-pixels.
Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 counts with just a little better battery lifetime than LG V30S ThinQ, because it has a 3400mAh battery size instead of 3300mAh.
Although LG V30S ThinQ is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Xiaomi Mi MIX 2, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Xiaomi Mi MIX 2. If you want to save some money, you can get Xiaomi Mi MIX 2, giving up a few specs and features, but you'll get the most out of your savings.
