Comparison review
LG V30S ThinQ is a bit better than the Xiaomi Mi Note 2, with a global score of 82.5 against 76. LG V30S ThinQ's design is newer, a little lighter and a little bit thinner than the Xiaomi Mi Note 2. Both devices we compare here use Android OS, but LG V30S ThinQ has a newer 8.0 Oreo version and Xiaomi Mi Note 2 has Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
The LG V30S ThinQ features a bit better performance than Xiaomi Mi Note 2, and although they both have a 6 GB RAM, the LG V30S ThinQ also has a higher number of cores. LG V30S ThinQ counts with a sharper screen than Xiaomi Mi Note 2, because it has more pixels per inch of display, a bit larger display and a way better 1440 x 2880 pixels resolution.
LG V30S ThinQ features much more memory capacity to store more apps and games than Xiaomi Mi Note 2, and although they both have the same 128 GB internal storage, the LG V30S ThinQ also has a SD memory slot that holds up to 1,95 TB. Xiaomi Mi Note 2 features longer battery life than LG V30S ThinQ, because it has a 23 percent larger battery capacity.
LG V30S ThinQ shoots better photographs and videos than Xiaomi Mi Note 2, because although it has a tinier back camera sensor capturing lower quality videos and photos, a back facing camera with much less MP resolution and a lower video definition, it also counts with a bigger camera aperture to capture better images and video in low light situations.
Although LG V30S ThinQ is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Xiaomi Mi Note 2, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Xiaomi Mi Note 2. If you prefer to save a few dollars, you can buy Xiaomi Mi Note 2, giving up a couple features, but you will get the most with your savings.
