The iPhone 12 mini has a general score of 88.5, which is a bit better than LG V40 ThinQ's 81.2 overall score. The iPhone 12 mini comes with iOS 14.x OS, and LG V40 ThinQ comes with Android 10 OS. The iPhone 12 mini design is much newer, much lighter and just a little thinner than LG V40 ThinQ. The Apple iPhone 12 mini counts with a faster processor than LG V40 ThinQ, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory and a lower number of cores , it also counts with a 64-bit CPU.
The iPhone 12 mini features a bit better screen than LG V40 ThinQ, although it has a quite smaller display, a just a bit less pixels per display inch and a way worse 1080 x 2340 resolution. LG V40 ThinQ has just a bit better camera than iPhone 12 mini, and although they both have the same 60 fps video frame rate, the same resolution camera in the back and the same (4K) video resolution, the LG V40 ThinQ also has a larger diafragm aperture.
The LG V40 ThinQ features a much better memory to install applications and games than iPhone 12 mini, and although they both have equal internal storage capacity, the LG V40 ThinQ also has an external memory card slot that holds up to 1,95 TB. The LG V40 ThinQ features a really longer battery performance than iPhone 12 mini, because it has a 3300mAh battery capacity against 2227mAh.
Although iPhone 12 mini is a better device, it costs a lot more than the LG V40 ThinQ, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as LG V40 ThinQ. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy the iPhone 12 mini, otherwise you can save some dollars and buy the LG V40 ThinQ, giving up a couple features and specifications.
