Comparison review
The LG V40 ThinQ has a score of 81.2, which is just a bit better than Asus ROG Phone's overall score of 77.1. The LG V40 ThinQ is a somewhat lighter and somewhat thinner device than Asus ROG Phone, even though both of them were only released with a few months difference. The LG V40 ThinQ has a little more vivid display than Asus ROG Phone, because it has a higher 1440 x 3120 pixels resolution, more pixels per inch of display and a little larger display.
Asus ROG Phone features a little bit better hardware performance than LG V40 ThinQ, and although they both have 8 processing cores, the Asus ROG Phone also has a higher amount of RAM. The Asus ROG Phone counts with a much bigger storage to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than LG V40 ThinQ, because although it has no SD card slot, it also counts with 512 GB internal memory.
The LG V40 ThinQ shoots much better photos and videos than Asus ROG Phone, because although it has a tinier sensor capturing less light and washed colors, and they both have the same video quality and the same 60 frames per second video frame rate, the LG V40 ThinQ also counts with a bigger camera aperture for better low light photography and videos.
