Comparison review

The LG V40 ThinQ has an overall score of 81.2, which is just a bit better than Google Pixel 3a XL's score of 78.9. Both of these phones come with Android OS (operating system), but the LG V40 ThinQ has the previous 10 version while Google Pixel 3a XL has Android 11 version. Even though the LG V40 ThinQ and Google Pixel 3a XL were only released with a couple months difference, the LG V40 ThinQ design is a little bit thinner but a little bit heavier than Google Pixel 3a XL.

The LG V40 ThinQ counts with a bit better looking screen than Google Pixel 3a XL, because it has a bit larger screen, a higher 1440 x 3120px resolution and more pixels per inch of screen. LG V40 ThinQ has a bit superior CPU than Google Pixel 3a XL, and although they both have the same number of cores, the LG V40 ThinQ also has 2 GB more RAM.

LG V40 ThinQ counts with a very superior memory capacity for games and applications than Google Pixel 3a XL, and although they both have exactly the same 64 GB internal storage capacity, the LG V40 ThinQ also has an external memory card slot that allows up to 1,95 TB. Google Pixel 3a XL counts with a little longer battery lifetime than LG V40 ThinQ, because it has 3700mAh of battery capacity.

The LG V40 ThinQ has a slightly better camera than Google Pixel 3a XL, because although it has a tinier sensor capturing worse quality photographs, a lower 3840x2160 video definition and a back camera with lesser megapixels, it also counts with a larger aperture for better low-light photos and video.

Although LG V40 ThinQ is a better device, it costs more money than the Google Pixel 3a XL, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Google Pixel 3a XL. So if you need that extra features, you can buy the LG V40 ThinQ, but if you don't you can save some money and buy the Google Pixel 3a XL, letting go a couple features and specifications.
