Huawei Mate 20 Pro has a general score of 82.9, which is a little bit better than LG V40 ThinQ's 81.2 global score. Huawei Mate 20 Pro is a somewhat thicker and heavier device than the LG V40 ThinQ. Huawei Mate 20 Pro features a screen that is very similar to LG V40 ThinQ's display, both have a same size display, exactly the same resolution of 1440 x 3120 and the same pixels density.

LG V40 ThinQ has a much better memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Huawei Mate 20 Pro, because although it has only 64 GB internal storage, it also counts with a SD memory slot that holds a maximum of 1,95 TB. LG V40 ThinQ features a bit better CPU than Huawei Mate 20 Pro. Both have 8 cpu cores and the same RAM memory amount.

Huawei Mate 20 Pro shoots better pictures and videos than LG V40 ThinQ, because although it has lower 30 fps video frame rate and a smaller aperture which is worse for low-light photos and video, and they both have the same (4K) video resolution, the Huawei Mate 20 Pro also counts with a much larger sensor capturing way better quality videos and photos and a much more MP back camera.

The Huawei Mate 20 Pro has superior battery life than LG V40 ThinQ, because it has a 4200mAh battery capacity.

Although Huawei Mate 20 Pro is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the LG V40 ThinQ, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as LG V40 ThinQ. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy the Huawei Mate 20 Pro, else you can save a couple dollars and get the LG V40 ThinQ, letting go a couple features and specifications.
