The Huawei Mate X is much better than the LG V40 ThinQ, getting a overall score of 89.4 against 81.2. These devices work with Android operating system, but the Huawei Mate X has the newer 9.0 Pie version and LG V40 ThinQ has Android 10 version, so it provides lots of additional features. The Huawei Mate X is a newer phone than the LG V40 ThinQ, but it's heavier and notably thicker.

The LG V40 ThinQ has a little more vivid screen than Huawei Mate X, because although it has a little bit worse resolution of 1440 x 3120 and a way smaller display, it also counts with a higher quantity of pixels per display inch. Huawei Mate X features a lot bigger memory to install games and applications than LG V40 ThinQ, because although it has no external SD slot, it also counts with 512 GB internal memory capacity.

LG V40 ThinQ has a little faster processor than Huawei Mate X, although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, they both have 8 cores. The Huawei Mate X has better battery performance than LG V40 ThinQ, because it has 4500mAh of battery capacity. The LG V40 ThinQ captures much clearer photographs and videos than Huawei Mate X, because although it has a back-facing camera with a lot lower 12 MP resolution and a lot smaller back camera sensor capturing much worse quality photos, it also counts with a larger aperture to take better photography and video in low-light environments.

Although Huawei Mate X is a better device, it is way more expensive than the LG V40 ThinQ, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the LG V40 ThinQ. So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy Huawei Mate X, else you can save some money and get the LG V40 ThinQ, giving up a couple features and specifications.
