Comparison review

The Huawei Mate X2 is slightly better than LG V40 ThinQ, getting a score of 89.1 against 81.2. The Huawei Mate X2 is a newer device than LG V40 ThinQ, although it is just a little thicker and noticeably heavier. These phones include the same Android 10 OS (operating system), so you shouldn't notice any differences in that aspect.

LG V40 ThinQ features just a bit better screen than Huawei Mate X2, because although it has a really smaller screen and a bit lower 1440 x 3120px resolution, it also counts with a better number of pixels per inch of screen. LG V40 ThinQ counts with a quite bigger storage capacity for apps and games than Huawei Mate X2, because although it has less internal memory, it also counts with a SD extension slot that admits a maximum of 1,95 TB.

The Huawei Mate X2 has just a little better hardware performance than LG V40 ThinQ, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Huawei Mate X2 also has 2 GB more RAM. Huawei Mate X2 captures just a bit better pictures and videos than LG V40 ThinQ, because although it has a way tinier diafragm aperture which is not favorable for low light photography and videos and lower 30 fps video frame rate, and they both have the same (4K) video resolution, the Huawei Mate X2 also counts with a camera in the back with a way higher 50 mega pixels resolution.

Huawei Mate X2 has better battery duration than LG V40 ThinQ, because it has a 4500mAh battery size.

Although Huawei Mate X2 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than LG V40 ThinQ, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the LG V40 ThinQ. So if you need that extra features, you can buy the Huawei Mate X2, but if you don't you can save some money and get the LG V40 ThinQ, resigning some specs and features.
