Comparison review

LG V30S ThinQ is just a bit better than the LG V40 ThinQ, with an 82.5 score against 81.2. LG V30S ThinQ's design is just a bit thinner and just a little lighter than LG V40 ThinQ, even though both of them were released with only a couple months difference. Both devices in our current comparison come with Android operating system, but LG V30S ThinQ has a more recent 8.0 Oreo version and LG V40 ThinQ has Android 10 version.

LG V40 ThinQ counts with a bit more vivid display than LG V30S ThinQ, and although they both have a better number of pixels per inch in the screen, the LG V40 ThinQ also has a bit larger screen and a little bit higher resolution of 1440 x 3120 pixels. The LG V40 ThinQ counts with just a bit better hardware performance than LG V30S ThinQ. Both have the same RAM memory amount and the same number of cores.

The LG V30S ThinQ counts with a better storage capacity to store more games and applications than LG V40 ThinQ, and although they both have a slot for external memory cards that holds a maximum of 1,95 TB, the LG V30S ThinQ also has 128 GB internal storage capacity. LG V30S ThinQ counts with a battery life that is just as good as the LG V40 ThinQ one.

The LG V40 ThinQ features just a bit better camera than LG V30S ThinQ, because although it has a camera with much less mega pixels resolution and a lower 3840x2160 video resolution, it also counts with a larger back camera sensor providing a higher image quality and a larger diafragm aperture to take better images and videos in low-light environments.

Although LG V30S ThinQ is a better device, it costs a lot more money than LG V40 ThinQ, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the LG V40 ThinQ. If you are trying to save a few dollars, you can get LG V40 ThinQ, giving up a few specs and features, but you will get the most out of your money.
