LG Velvet is a little bit better than the LG V40 ThinQ, with an 87.1 score against 81.2. Even though the LG Velvet is newer than LG V40 ThinQ, it is just a little bit thicker and a little bit heavier. The LG V40 ThinQ counts with a bit superior processing unit than LG Velvet. They have 8 cpu cores and the same RAM amount.

LG V40 ThinQ has a little bit better looking display than LG Velvet, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a greater number of pixels per display inch and a better resolution of 1440 x 3120. The LG Velvet features a superior camera than LG V40 ThinQ, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture which is not nice for low light photos and slower 30 fps video frame rate, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video definition, the LG Velvet also counts with a much larger sensor which gives a way higher photo and video quality and a back camera with much more megapixels.

The LG Velvet features a quite bigger memory capacity for games and applications than LG V40 ThinQ, and although they both have a slot for an SD memory card that supports up to 1,95 TB, the LG Velvet also has 128 GB internal memory. LG Velvet counts with greater battery duration than LG V40 ThinQ, because it has 4300mAh of battery capacity instead of 3300mAh.

LG Velvet is more expensive than the LG V40 ThinQ, but you can get a better phone for that extra dollars.
