LG V40 ThinQ is slightly better than the Moto G9 Play, getting an 81.2 score against 76.7. LG V40 ThinQ is an older cellphone than Moto G9 Play, but LG managed to build it somewhat thinner and lighter. Both of these phones have the same Android 10 OS (Operating System), so both of them should count with the same operating system features.
LG V40 ThinQ counts with a much sharper display than Motorola Moto G9 Play, because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a much better screen density and a much better resolution of 1440 x 3120 pixels. The LG V40 ThinQ features just a bit better processing power than Motorola Moto G9 Play, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the LG V40 ThinQ also has a greater amount of RAM memory.
The Moto G9 Play shoots slightly better photographs and videos than LG V40 ThinQ, because although it has a smaller camera aperture which is not good for capturing photographs and video in low-light situations, and they both have the same 60 frames per second video frame rates and the same (Full HD) video quality, the Moto G9 Play also counts with a way bigger back camera sensor capturing lot higher quality videos and photographs and a camera with way more MP.
The LG V40 ThinQ counts with a much better storage capacity for games and applications than Moto G9 Play, and although they both have the same internal memory, the LG V40 ThinQ also has an external memory slot that admits a maximum of 1,95 TB. Motorola Moto G9 Play has a much better battery life than LG V40 ThinQ, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity.
