Comparison review

Galaxy A71 has a general score of 87.5, which is a bit better than LG V40 ThinQ's 81.2 overall score. Both phones in this comparison review include Android OS (operating system), but the Galaxy A71 has the newer 11 version and LG V40 ThinQ has Android 10, so it gives you a lot of extra features. The Galaxy A71 body has the same thickness than LG V40 ThinQ, but it's just a little heavier.

LG V40 ThinQ has a little sharper screen than Galaxy A71, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a better display pixel density and a higher resolution of 1440 x 3120px. The LG V40 ThinQ has a slightly better storage to store more apps and games than Samsung Galaxy A71, because although it has only 64 GB internal memory capacity, it also counts with an external memory card slot that holds up to 1,95 TB.

LG V40 ThinQ counts with a little bit better processing power than Samsung Galaxy A71. Both of them have a Octa-Core processing unit and 6 GB of RAM. Samsung Galaxy A71 captures much better pictures and videos than LG V40 ThinQ, because although it has a tinier camera aperture which is not recommended for low-light captures and video and slower 30 fps video frame rate, and they both have the same video quality, the Samsung Galaxy A71 also counts with a much more mega pixels camera in the back and a way bigger back-facing camera sensor.

The Galaxy A71 counts with better battery life than LG V40 ThinQ, because it has a 4500mAh battery capacity instead of 3300mAh.

Although Galaxy A71 is a better device, it costs a lot more than LG V40 ThinQ, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the LG V40 ThinQ. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy Galaxy A71, else you can save some dollars and get the LG V40 ThinQ, letting go some features and specifications.
