The Galaxy M40 is a bit better than LG V40 ThinQ, having an 85 score against 81.2. The Galaxy M40 construction is a little thicker but just a little bit lighter than the LG V40 ThinQ, and both of them were only released with a few months difference. Both phones in our current comparison have the same Android 10 operating system, so you shouldn't see any difference in that aspect.

LG V40 ThinQ counts with a little bit better screen than Samsung Galaxy M40, because it has a higher pixel density, a little bit bigger screen and a better 1440 x 3120px resolution. LG V40 ThinQ has a bit more powerful processing unit than Galaxy M40. Both have 6 GB of RAM memory and the same number of cores.

LG V40 ThinQ features a little bit more memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Galaxy M40, because although it has less internal memory capacity, it also counts with a SD memory card expansion slot that allows up to 1,95 TB. Galaxy M40 counts with just a bit longer battery performance than LG V40 ThinQ, because it has 3500mAh of battery capacity.

The Samsung Galaxy M40 shoots a little bit better photos and videos than LG V40 ThinQ, because although it has a smaller camera aperture, worse video frame rates and a smaller back-facing camera sensor which gives a lower image and video quality, and they both have the same video definition, the Samsung Galaxy M40 also counts with a back-facing camera with lot more megapixels.
