Comparison review

Galaxy Note8 is a bit better than LG V40 ThinQ, having an 83 score against 81.2. Both of these phones work with Android OS, but the Galaxy Note8 has a newer 9.0 Pie version and LG V40 ThinQ has Android 10. Despite being the best device in this comparison, Galaxy Note8 is an older, thicker and somewhat heavier device than the LG V40 ThinQ.

LG V40 ThinQ features a little bit better processing power than Galaxy Note8. They have 8 cores and 6 GB of RAM. The LG V40 ThinQ features a slightly better looking display than Samsung Galaxy Note8, because it has a just a little more pixels per display inch, a slightly higher resolution of 1440 x 3120px and a bit bigger display.

The LG V40 ThinQ has a slightly better camera than Galaxy Note8, because although it has a smaller sensor shooting worse quality videos and pictures, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video resolution and a back camera with a 12 megapixels, the LG V40 ThinQ also counts with a bigger aperture and better video frame rate.

LG V40 ThinQ features a way bigger memory capacity for games and applications than Galaxy Note8, and although they both have the same internal storage, the LG V40 ThinQ also has a slot for external memory cards that allows up to 1,95 TB. Galaxy Note8's battery duration is very similar to the LG V40 ThinQ one.

Although Samsung Galaxy Note8 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the LG V40 ThinQ, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the LG V40 ThinQ. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy Samsung Galaxy Note8, otherwise you can save some dollars and buy the LG V40 ThinQ, resigning some features and specs.
