Galaxy S20 has an overall score of 94.8, which is much better than LG V40 ThinQ's 81.2 general score. Both of these phones come with Android OS (Operating System), but the Galaxy S20 has 13 version while LG V40 ThinQ has Android 10, offering a couple nice extra features and performance improvements. Galaxy S20 is a newer and just a little bit lighter phone than LG V40 ThinQ, although it is a bit thicker.

Samsung Galaxy S20 has a bit more vivid screen than LG V40 ThinQ, because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a just a little better screen density and a bit higher 1440 x 3200px resolution. Samsung Galaxy S20 has just a bit better performance than LG V40 ThinQ, and although they both have 8 processing cores, the Samsung Galaxy S20 also has more RAM memory.

The Samsung Galaxy S20 counts with a slightly bigger storage for applications, games, photos and videos than LG V40 ThinQ, because although it has a slot for SD memory cards that admits up to 1000 GB against 1,95 TB, it also counts with 128 GB internal storage capacity. The Galaxy S20 counts with a bit better camera than LG V40 ThinQ, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not favorable for capturing photographs in low-light environments, and they both have a same resolution back facing camera, the Galaxy S20 also counts with a lot higher 7680x4320 video resolution and a way larger sensor capturing way higher quality pictures.

Although Samsung Galaxy S20 is a better device, it is way more expensive than the LG V40 ThinQ, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as LG V40 ThinQ. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy the Samsung Galaxy S20, else you can save some dollars and buy the LG V40 ThinQ, letting go a couple features and specifications.
