Galaxy Z Fold 2 is better than LG V40 ThinQ, getting a 94.6 score against 81.2. Even though the Galaxy Z Fold 2 is extremely heavier than the LG V40 ThinQ, it's just a little bit thinner and also newer. Both phones in this review include Android OS (Operating System), but Galaxy Z Fold 2 has a more recent 11 version and LG V40 ThinQ has Android 10.

The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 counts with a bit better processing power than LG V40 ThinQ, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 also has a larger amount of RAM memory. LG V40 ThinQ features a little bit better looking screen than Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a greater display density and a quite better 1440 x 3120 resolution.

Galaxy Z Fold 2 counts with a little bit better camera than LG V40 ThinQ, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not recommended for capturing photographs and/or video in poorly lited situations, and they both have a same resolution camera, the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality and the same video frame rates, the Galaxy Z Fold 2 also counts with a much larger sensor capturing more light and vivid colors.

LG V40 ThinQ counts with a bigger storage to install games and applications than Galaxy Z Fold 2, because although it has 0 less internal memory capacity, it also counts with a slot for SD memory cards that holds a maximum of 1,95 TB. The Galaxy Z Fold 2 counts with better battery performance than LG V40 ThinQ, because it has a 4500mAh battery capacity against 3300mAh.

Although Galaxy Z Fold 2 is a better device, it costs a lot more than the LG V40 ThinQ, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as LG V40 ThinQ. So if you want that extra features, you can buy Galaxy Z Fold 2, otherwise you can save some dollars and buy the LG V40 ThinQ, letting go a couple specs and features.
