Comparison review

The Sony Xperia 1 has an overall score of 82.6, which is a bit better than the LG V40 ThinQ's 81.2 overall score. Sony Xperia 1 is a just a little bit heavier and a bit thicker cellphone than LG V40 ThinQ. The Xperia 1 features a little more vivid screen than LG V40 ThinQ, because it has a better 1644 x 3840px resolution, a little bit larger screen and a just a bit better pixels density.

The LG V40 ThinQ has a bit bigger memory for games and applications than Sony Xperia 1, because although it has less internal storage, it also counts with a SD card slot that admits up to 1,95 TB. Xperia 1 has a processor that is very similar to the CPU in LG V40 ThinQ, both have a Octa-Core CPU and a 6 GB RAM memory.

LG V40 ThinQ captures a little bit better photos and videos than Sony Xperia 1, and although they both have the same resolution camera, the same (4K) video definition and a same size sensor, the LG V40 ThinQ also has a larger camera aperture and faster video frame rate. Sony Xperia 1 counts with a battery duration that is just as good as LG V40 ThinQ's battery duration, although the Sony Xperia 1 also has a 1 percent larger battery capacity.

Although Sony Xperia 1 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than LG V40 ThinQ, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the LG V40 ThinQ. If you are trying to save a few dollars, you can get the LG V40 ThinQ, giving up a couple features, but you'll get the most out of your money.
