Xperia 5 II is a bit better than LG V40 ThinQ, getting a global score of 87.2 against 81.2. The Xperia 5 II is a newer and just a bit lighter phone than the LG V40 ThinQ, although it's also a little thicker. The Xperia 5 II has a CPU that is just as good as LG V40 ThinQ's processor, and although the Xperia 5 II has a larger amount of RAM, they both have 8 cpu cores.

LG V40 ThinQ counts with a bit more vivid screen than Xperia 5 II, because it has a quite better quantity of pixels in each inch in the display, a better resolution of 1440 x 3120 pixels and a quite larger display. The Xperia 5 II takes slightly better pictures and videos than LG V40 ThinQ, because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture, and they both have a 12 mega-pixels back camera and the same video definition, the Xperia 5 II also counts with a lot larger camera sensor which offers a lot better photo and video quality and faster 120 frames per second video frame rates.

Sony Xperia 5 II features a bit bigger memory capacity to install games and applications than LG V40 ThinQ, because although it has a slot for external memory cards that holds 1000 GB smaller, it also counts with 128 GB internal memory capacity.
