Comparison review

LG V40 ThinQ has a general score of 81.2, which is a little bit better than Sony Xperia XA2 Plus's 78.6 global score. Even when LG V40 ThinQ and Sony Xperia XA2 Plus were only released with a few months difference, LG V40 ThinQ is extremely thinner and lighter. Both of these phones use Android OS (operating system), but LG V40 ThinQ has an older 10 version while Sony Xperia XA2 Plus has Android 8.0 Oreo version.

The LG V40 ThinQ features a bit faster processing unit than Xperia XA2 Plus. Both of them have the same number of cores and the same RAM amount. The LG V40 ThinQ features a bit better display than Sony Xperia XA2 Plus, because it has a better resolution of 1440 x 3120, a little larger display and a higher number of pixels per screen inch.

The LG V40 ThinQ counts with a superior memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Xperia XA2 Plus, and although they both have exactly the same 64 GB internal storage, the LG V40 ThinQ also has a slot for external memory cards that holds a maximum of 1,95 TB. Sony Xperia XA2 Plus counts with a bit longer battery lifetime than LG V40 ThinQ, because it has 3580mAh of battery capacity instead of 3300mAh.

Sony Xperia XA2 Plus captures a bit better photos and videos than LG V40 ThinQ, because although it has a lot smaller camera aperture and worse video frame rates, and they both have the same (4K) video resolution, the Sony Xperia XA2 Plus also counts with a much better resolution back facing camera and a bigger back camera sensor capturing higher quality pictures and videos.
