Comparison review
The iPhone 12 mini is a bit better than the LG Velvet, getting an 88.5 score against 87.1. The iPhone 12 mini is a incredibly lighter and a little bit thinner cellphone than LG Velvet, even when both of them were only released with a couple of months difference. Apple iPhone 12 mini features a brighter screen than LG Velvet, because although it has a much smaller display and a bit worse 1080 x 2340 resolution, it also counts with a just a little more pixels per inch in the screen.
The LG Velvet counts with a way bigger memory capacity for applications and games than iPhone 12 mini, because it has a SD card slot that supports up to 1,95 TB and 64 GB more internal memory. Apple iPhone 12 mini counts with a better performance than LG Velvet, because although it has less RAM and lesser cpu cores (although they are faster), it also counts with a 64-bits processing unit.
The LG Velvet has a very superior battery performance than iPhone 12 mini, because it has 4300mAh of battery capacity instead of 2227mAh. LG Velvet captures better photos and videos than iPhone 12 mini, because although it has worse 30 fps video frame rate and a smaller diafragm aperture which is not good for low-light captures and videos, and they both have the same (4K) video resolution, the LG Velvet also counts with a lot better resolution back-facing camera.
Although Apple iPhone 12 mini is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the LG Velvet, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as LG Velvet. If you prefer to save some money, you can buy LG Velvet, and give up a few features and specs, but you will get the most with your savings.
