The LG Velvet is a bit better than the Asus ZenFone 8, with an 87.1 score against 83. LG Velvet is an older and a little bit heavier phone than the Asus ZenFone 8, but LG could make it somewhat thinner anyway. The Asus ZenFone 8 counts with a bit superior processor than LG Velvet. Both of them have a Octa-Core processor and a 6 GB RAM.
The Asus ZenFone 8 has a much better looking display than LG Velvet, because although it has a little bit worse resolution of 1080 x 2400 and a little smaller screen, it also counts with a quite better pixels quantity in each inch in the screen. The LG Velvet features a much better storage capacity for games and applications than Asus ZenFone 8, and although they both have the same internal memory capacity, the LG Velvet also has an external memory slot that admits up to 1,95 TB.
The LG Velvet features a bit superior battery lifetime than Asus ZenFone 8, because it has an 8 percent bigger battery size. Asus ZenFone 8 shoots better videos and photos than LG Velvet, and although they both have a F1.8 aperture, the Asus ZenFone 8 also has a larger camera sensor capturing higher quality videos and pictures, a lot better 7680x4320 video definition and a back-facing camera with way more mega pixels.
